Dear Neighbors: Over the past several months many of you have called or emailed my office to inform us that work is starting too early and ending too late on various construction sites throughout the 42nd Ward. In response to your feedback, I held a meeting with all of the developers responsible for managing construction sites within the Ward. I emphasized their obligation to follow the city's ordinance on work start and stop times and explained the consequences of ignoring this regulation in no uncertain terms. I will continue to monitor this issue. If you know of a construction site where there is a noise problem, write me a message with the "send Burt a message" option on my website or call my office at 744-3062.
